Ghosts of the Lost Colony closed on a high note Friday night, April 6 with two sold-out shows. Over the two week performance run, over 700 people explored the grounds of Fort Raleigh National Historic Site and Waterside Theatre for paranormal activity with our guides from Astral Planes Investigations.
The two-week run included 11 performances, 7 of which were completely sold out which made for an attendance increase of 78% over 2017. Originally planned to close on Saturday, April 7, the last performance was canceled due to inclement weather; fortunately, the cast was able to reschedule and do two shows on Friday, April 6.
The Roanoke Island Historical Association would like to extend their generous appreciation to the Outer Banks community for their support. Ghosts of the Lost Colony has disappeared for 2018 but join us soon for the 81st season of The Lost Colony which opens May 25.
